Numerous recipients of jing screen-recordings that I make and post to screencast complain, b/c they are flash based (and presumably, they cannot easily play them).

Is there an easy way to make these mp4, or something else more universally supported?

Hi @ ljepson74 ,

Simply tell them to use FireFox or Internet Explorer with Adobe Flash Player installed.
Works just fine.

that's true... also you can use a free tool called handbrake to convert them to mp4 if that's your preference... I do that with a lot of webm format videos that I get from recording join.me web meetings

I was struggling with these SWF screencast files as well, as they aren't accepted universally and are hard to play. I'm using VIP Video Converter to convert them to MP4 / WebM.
