Jump to Marker and Play

I certainly understand how to make markers so that users can jump to particular segments. I'm using a hotspot callout to allow them to jump to a video of their choice. However, it solely jumps and does not start playing the timeline from that point. Is there a way to specify to play after jumping to the marker?

Hi John,

Your hotspots should indeed begin playback after clicking on them (after producing to an mp4, making sure 'Produce with controller' is checked).

There could be a few reasons why your video continues to pause after clicking on the hotspot, but my first thought would be that a different hotspot is trying to pause the video at the same marker you're jumping to.  Otherwise sometimes hotspots will pause a second early (our bug, currently on our radar).  If this isn't the issue you're seeing, I recommend filing a request with TechSupport so that we can work with your specific project.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,

Aaron

It was your second assumption. I was keeping the hotspots too close together such that if it jumped to a spot that had a hotspot nearby, it was picking that up. I have another question but will start a new thread so it can be searched regarding markers.
