Just upgraded to Snagit 2018 - changing default canvas is no longer available

I finally figured out how to change the default canvas from transparent in Snagit 13. Then I upgraded to Snagit 2018.  Now the Profile function has changed and the capability is no longer available.  How can I change the default canvas from transparent to white?  I don't want to have to change it for every individual image that I capture. We used to be able to do this as demonstrated in this earlier post: https://feedback.techsmith.com/techsmith/topics/snagit_editor_default_background

Thank you!

Well that's seems to be an option they took away.  Why is anybody's guess.

I've got a "Terrible" workaround for you if you want it.

You could create a custom profile and save your captures as Jpegs to a folder on your desktop or wherever you chose.

You "Must Chose" not to preview in the editor.Or it will open with a transparent background and a green "Finnish" button in the top of the editor. I know I was frustratingly creating this profile just to see if I could.

If you create it as shown,
When the editor is open and minimized to the taskbar.
And you make a capture,  a jpeg will be placed in the folder, and one will appear in the editor.

It will have a White Background because SnagIt places White backgrounds behind jpegs by default and transparent ones behind png's and .snag's.
That's the only reason your saving captures as jpegs.

See, I knew you would Hate It.

If the editor is closed a  jpeg is placed in library with every capture. The folder you are saving to is Redundant and can be deleted.

If you didn't hate it before you must hate it now.LOL

That's all I got
