Just wanted to say Thank You

I just wanted you all to know that I use Snagit and Camtasia on a daily basis. In fact when I am building training material they are the only tools I use in combination with each other. I will often use snagit to create images with simple highlights or instructions then I pull those images into camtasia and animate it in high quality and often attached to quizzes. Without these tools I would be stranded and at a loss for how to address all the different learning styles of our dealers.
We often promote Snagit to our dealers to use in building information material for their clients also. When we work with graphs and other intense images with lots of color it can be hard to point certain details our clients need to see. Using Snagit we can pinpoint or direct attention to the part of the image or map that needs to be addressed.
If you are ever interested in seeing some of the material i have created let me know and I will get you access to our training material.
This is AWESOME software and I just wanted to say thank you very much for making my life and business so much more profitable.

My sentiments exactly. As a programmer that was thrown into testing for a few years, I used snagit dll for automatically taking screen shots for Sox requirements. And I didn't mention the great service from Tech Smith!

LOL on the SOX requirements. I'm a professional trainer for a couple of Adobe products and I've done a few Camtasia classes too. It's funny how SOX compliance was immediately recognized a few short years ago, but today's classes give me a bunch of folks staring blankly back at me seemingly bewildered with the term!

I TOTALLY agree that these tools rock! I've used them both for years. SnagIt far more than Camtasia, but Camtasia is a growing juggernaut!

I think anyone that deals with information would have to be certified insane if they didn't at least give these a real try!

Robert, I think Tamutka was asking about seeing what Kylen had produced.

In Kylen's post, the following was said:

If you are ever interested in seeing some of the material i have created let me know and I will get you access to our training material.

Cheers... Rick :)

Kylen, I too would be interested in seeing them! I find that I learn new techniques by observing what others have done. ;)

Below are just two simple examples of my training material. The first one is just a one snap shot image that I did for one group of people who were having problems getting their information in properly. The second one is a much longer document and more of an example of our intense training material. I have found that simple is the most effective for training. Even though this document is extremely long (I build them that way so I can keep focused on all steps) I can use snagit to segment it out into specific topical steps. Which I have done. This long document is now broken into 20 separate articles that are topic specific and on our training site the dealers can just search for a topic and find just what they are looking for. Having the ability to bring in images on top of other images and making a training point allows me to not have to recreate every ACTUAL image. I can recreate a web view using overlays of historical images like you will see around page 24 of the long document. I love it and it saves a huge amount of time!

I use Snagit Stamps. I had to buy them but they work very nice to get a point across and leave lasting impressions. I like the way they leave a lasting impression. I will even use them in camtasia by saving them as images and bring them into a video to add some life or humor to a video. I uploaded another image to show one I sent to a client. He got the point!!

Thank you so much for all of the kind words!  Also, for those sharing tutorial content and helpful links.  We truly appreciate all of the support from our users and champions!  There would be no TechSmith without all of you!
