Is there a work-around in Camtasia Mac to make the keyboard shortcuts annotations show just "shift". I don't need Shift + something, just Shift.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the feedback! I'm going to share it with the team to see if we can make this easier in the future. In the meantime, you can use a mask as a work-around.

1. Add a keyboard callout where Shift modifies another key. (I recommend unchecking the "Draw Background" option; the mask won't be able to maintain the rounded edges.)

2. From the Video FX, add a mask to that callout.

3. In the properties pane, make the mask a rectangle instead of an oval.

4. Adjust the mask so that only the Shift key is visible.

If you'd like here's a quick demo of that process - http://www.screencast.com/t/TZDytuN3 (sorry, no sound)

Hope that helps!
