Is the Intro at the same size and frame rate as the main video?

what are the dimensions of your clips?

what project settings [editing dimensions] are you using?

can you post a full screen screenshot showing project in Camtasia at ctl-shift-7 zoom?

more details will hopefully help

thanks for this additional info

your 2 clips, being different dimensions, may be part of the problem

as a test, produce the 1436x860 clip by itself to MP4 at 1280x720

then, use both same-sized clips in same project; does that help

I have exactly the same problem.  I have just bought Camtasia 9 and am new to it so would appreciate somebody talking me through the problem.  How do I know/adjust the frame rate within my intro video and my main video (if this is what is causing the problem)?

MY INTRO WAS A AVI FILE I WENT ON CONVERTER: http://video.online-convert.com/convert-to-mp4 AND CONVERT IT. THEN IMPORT THE MP4 FILE TO CAMTASIA AND REPLCE THE ORGINIAL FILE WITH THE MP4.
HOPE IT WORKS FOR U :)

Also, do the videos have to play at a specific frame rate?  If so, what is it?

There may be others in this forum with a better way.

Try producing your intro by itself to  .MP4 with Camtasia as a separate project with the settings you want for the final combined video,  then add it to your main video and produce with the same settings.

Another way would be to run each video through a free program like Handbrake and make sure each video is set to the same settings then combine them in Camtasia.
