Language with camtasia

If I want to have the closed caption script in another language other than english (ie: chinese, japanese, spanish) does camtasia support other language characters?

Sorry for the lack of replies here. I was just browsing older posts and found yours.

If you haven't tested this (or for anyone else who might read this answer), then yes, the captions editor in Camtasia Studio will display characters from other languages.

However, note that there are no built-in translation tools in the captions editor and also no in-product interface for generating those characters. Assuming you already have them (or at least a way to get them) you should be all set. In fact, if you already have English captions and you want to export them for easier translation, check out this Import/Export tutorial here:
