You have the free tutorials offered by TechSmith but they are basic and get you up and running but may not have all the details you are looking for and to accomplish what your long term goals are for the course. The link for those tutorials is below:

TechSmith Products Tutorial Page

Now I can recommend one resource that is great in my opinion and also from one of TechSmith's own and is a great resource and he knows what he is doing. Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with him or make no money from recommending this eBook or his site but know it is a great resource.

The information for his website and his Screencast Training Products. These are all put together by Daniel Park's and well worth the extra money.

Camtasia 9: The Definitive Guide (Direct Link)

Now on the other hand if you do not want to spend the extra money that is understandable. Then I would recommend reading the help files and going from there or look for other YouTube Videos which some can be good and some bad. You can also do a Google Search for specific things you may be wanting to accomplish. There are numerous people who offer training both live and online too. I have given training on using Camtasia and this is also a great Community/Resource for asking questions you may have on how to do something. If you could post them here or let us know by giving more information on what you would want for your Online Course - For example: Quizzes, Hotspots, Callouts, Etc. then it would be great. I will do what I can to help you with this if you would like.

I hope you find this post helpful and like it and sorry for it being so long. Have a great day/night and look forward to your feedback.

Best Regards - Fred.
