Left-pointing arrows

When drawing an arrow it seems that with Snagit you have to start away from the spot you want to point at and draw towards it. It seems more natural to me to start at the object (leaving the arrow head there) and draw away from it, and it would be nice if there were a preference, style or styles that would let me do that.

One thing you can do is to draw an arrow as you wish, then adjust the ends so as to swap the tip. Then save that as a Quick style. From there forward, when you draw it should be arranged as you want.

Cheers... Rick :)

Rick: IMHO, you are missing the point.

Darned near every graphic program works the way Martin describes (including nearly all other screenshot apps). I have been using Snagit for going on eight years and I still frequently start from what I want to point to then say "Oh, &$%^#" and have to remedy the situation.

I would love to do arrows in what I consider the "natural way" with zero extra steps.  I vote for a change in arrow drawing behavior.

LOL, I wasn't arguing any point. Just pointing out that the point of the arrow can be changed to accomplish what Martin wanted to point to in the way he was pointing. Wasn't that the point?

I'm happy doing it the way Rick described since it's once and done.

I used to use Skitch and was upset when it stopped being supported, but now I'm happy that happened because I found Snagit and can't imagine a better image/video capture app.
