Licence code? or rip off?

Bought Snagit about an hour ago and still have not been able to complete the installation as I have not got a Licence code in my reciept email and Techsmith don't seem interested in helping, I am a very experienced computer user and a writer in technology magazines in the UK .

Ian did you get it installed then ? Where did you purchase the product from ? Usually if it is from TechSmith they send those out fairly quick right after purchase from my knowledge. I hope it is now working for you and I am sorry for the inconvenience it might have caused you.

That is odd, I've been using Techsmith products for over a decade and not experienced any such issues.

Like the others, I've had nothing but good experience with TechSmith's support of SnagIt. Not that they have been able to resolve every issue I came to them with, but in my experience TechSmith is definitely NOT in the "rip-off" category.

I'm sorry you were having trouble.
When you say "TechSmith isn't very interested in helping", can you let us know more about what you mean?

You obviously had not been helped by the time you wrote this post, but I would be interested in hearing what happened to lead you to the conclusion we have no interest in helping.
