Mac and Windows..
I have the latest Windows SnagIT. I didn't realize I can get a licence for my Mac side (cheap/free)? I jump between the two OS's using Parallels... Snagit on the mac would make my life simpler...

Hi tcat,

Snagit 10 and Snagit on Mac 1.0 share a license, as does Snagit 11 and Snagit on Mac 2.0. If you have any of these four versions of Snagit, your license key will be good for a copy on each platform simultaneously.

In your case, you already have the windows version of Snagit installed, so download Snagit on Mac from our website here:

http://www.techsmith.com/download/sna...

Then launch the app and enter your license key into the activation field that displays in the trial window.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Oh Jason, That is Killer News.

You just earned TechSmith a writeup on http://TRCBNews.com

I'm SnagIt V11 so I will get V2 for my Roaring Lion.

Got the D/L and installed. Did a cut/paste of my registration #.

The activate button does not light up... do I have to wait the 30 trial period?

Hey folks!

Thanks to Jason for the killer support!

FYI, I'm now an official IT10T. I had looked at SnagIt for Mac (V1).
Went with the current Win SnagIt.

I had not dumped SnagIt V1 on OS X.

So when I attempted to put my key in, it looked at me like an ID10T.
(Because I was).

Dumped V1 into the Trash, downloaded V2, and life is Good (and legal).

What a killer idea TechSmith has allowing us to work on both platforms with one nose, one license key. Hope they do that with Camtasia Studio!

Thank you So Much Again, Mr. Jason!

Tcat
