Local save when exporting to Youtube?

When exporting to Youtube, is the video also saved locally on the pc?

I believe Camtasia saves a copy in the Temp folder while it uploads, but doesn't keep it. Maybe I'm wrong, someone might contradict me, but if you want a copy of your own, you'd have to export to MP4 locally first, and then upload that to YouTube.

You are correct, no copy for you.

I don't do direct uploads any longer. I uploaded a video with an error one time.What a waste of my time.
I have a relatively slow internet, so I can render a video 10 times faster,  check for errors then upload.

I recommend everyone does it. If you lose power or the connection, You Tube doesn't resume uploads, you have to start over.

It would be nice if Camtasia introduced a little tick box next to the upload to YouTube to 'save a local copy also'
