Lock/unlock ALL; Hide/unhide ALL tracks

I use a lot of "tracks" on the video timeline. It would be wonderful to have better track management tools to make them easier to manipulate while editing. I spend a lot of time locking, hiding, unlocking, and unhiding individual tracks to focus on or isolate the main background video track, usually a screen recording. It would be great to have a feature to lock and unlock all, hide and unhide all, but allowing the editor to manage single tracks. Going through 5 minutes of timeline, sometimes at frame level, and repeatedly locking and unlocking 16 tracks individually hundreds of times is not my idea of fun.

I cannot believe that this feature request has been on the radar so long without attracting more (any?) notice from the Camtasia team.  If it was implemented, I would give a lot more thought to upgrading my version of Camtasia.  Bill H. (if you're still there), what do you say?

I may not be a software designer. But how difficult is this?

Obviously, Adobes Premier Pro does things differently.
They handle audio and video separately. They don't combine audio and video on the same track.

If you want to lock all video tracks you hold the shift key and left click the padlock. All video tracks lock.
Then, left click any tracks you want to work with. Shift click to unlock them all.
Simple keyboard shortcut.

Same for hiding tracks.

Audio is excluded. If you want to mute or lock those tracks you must deal with them separately. For some reason unlocking muted tracks is left click+Alt.

Editing video in Premier Pro is much different than Camtasia.
Audio scrubbing is a great feature and one the primary reason automatically hiding/muting audio along with video wouldn't make good sense.
Selecting the media is handled quite differently as well. Anyway, not a Premier Pro topic.

Hold Shift and Click. To Lock or Hide all tracks.
Left Click to Unlock Individual Tracks.

Regards,Joe

I agree with everything said above.  I want to insert one audio clip and it takes five minutes of tedious ridiculous work.
