You can move files in windows explorer. I may not be understanding the issue. What do you mean by date file? Please add some more details and someone can probably help

In the Library, when you create a image, it logs into the library by the date created. I want to move it to a different date so I can delete months I no longer need to look at. i.e. 2016 .

I tried to change the date in the datastore version and that did not work. I set it to march 2018 and it stayed in the 2017 group UNTIL I saved it as a PNG (anything will do) Then it jumped to March 2018
It seems you must change the date in the datastore and then save it for this to work

Oddly, that article omittted a download link

Windows System Control Center will handle microsoft and Nirsort programs and keep them updated. All the apps are portable. Nirsoft utilities will trip off your anti virus software big time! The stuff is safe but they are there to make changes deep in the system including things like recovering product keys. They are safe as I have been using them for years

I hope that helps some. I would open a ticket and see if there is a better way to do it
You could also do it with tags. Assign 2017 & March to everything you do this month and then go back and change the February tag to March. That is a very kludgy work around
