Just starting out with Camtasia 9 Mac. I haven't been real clear yet about file management and best practice for naming/stroing projects, but I've been able to find the couple of projects I made so far, I guess in my documents or in recent in Camtasia. But I just lost a major project I;ve been working on for several days. Last thing that happened—i made a screencast of a portion of it with Snagit and shared it to screencast. Got a little confused between the screencast site and some window I was getting that looked like it was in camtasia but was showing a record of my what I've shared to screencast. At some point I think I deleted some files there that looked like old videos I had shared. The first run through I did of the screencast I forgot to stop the recorder but hit share so I ended up sharing a long video. Discovered the mistake, redid it, and at some point deleted the long one form one of those windows along with some previous projects. Thought those were videos I'd shared to Sreencast. Now can't find the most recent project I've been working on. Sorry for rambling question. (Also, last thing I was doing on the project, I noticed that I wasn't able to drag media clips into timeline; or if I used right click and insert at playhead they would go, but if i moved them they would disappear. I'm wondering if Camtasia had crashed at that point and I didn't realize it. I went online to look for info about the clip problem, when I came back I had lost the project.) Thanks for any help.
