It would be very helpfull to have some kind of guides in Snagit. For example in Photoshop, you can use these so called guides. With these guides, you can line up elements on the same position. You can make these guides magnetic or not. That would be very helpful in Snagit too.

You can use the magnifier along with the arrow keys to line things up at the pixel level.

Those rulers would be a nice addition.

But maybe you mean in the editor. I agree a set of guides, along with the rulers, would be nice but you can line up objects by selecting multiple objects, right click and select align. Not quite as nice as the guides but it gets the job done.

Here's one way to align objects in Snagit:

Please add rulers and "snap" lines to the product..

I would love to see rulers at the top and left of the page, and the ability to add "snap" lines to the screen. I see the dimension box on the bottom left, but I need to trim about 10 images to the exact same size from the exact same point of reference. Even though this isn't an "image editor" like the Adobe products, this reference would be exceptional to have - even Word has rulers. Great product. Love it and use it all the time. Would love to see this added. Thanks.
