Allow Edit of Photos (Cropping, Resizing, etc.) but MAINTAIN all of the Photo Properties such as Date Taken, Location, etc.
I use the SnagIt editor for all of my screen captures, so I wanted to use it for imported photos to make them the right size, etc...but I lost all the Photo properties.
It might even be nice if those properties were populated for the snagged images?

It would cost Techsmith a negligible amount of development time to keep the EXIF data intact... maybe allow for a week or two of QA to ensure that nothing else breaks. Keeping EXIF data isn't difficult and will save a lot of their users much trouble.
Why keep EXIF data in a tool not designed to be a "photo editor"?
1. End users are using Snagit for everything! Because it is a quick and simple multi-purpose editor.
2. Sometimes, it is important to maintain copyright information within images edited in Snagit. All EXIF information is wiped upon save. EXIF isn't just for photographs! This is my use case! I add EXIF data to all bitmap images... but a tiny edit in Snagit wipes out this information and it is frustrating to the point where I have considered looking for a suitable alternative to Snagit.
