Make "grab text" feature a 100 times more useful by supporting "replace text"

I just purchased SnagIT 2018 for the Mac and I like the "grab text" feature that enables you to copy and edit text from a screenshot and paste it into anything you want. I believe this feature would be 100 times for useful if there was a way to easily replace the text in the screenshot you just grabbed.

This is a common workflow where I capture screens, bring it into photoshop, and do some work to add a text layer where I mask the existing text with the text I want. If there was a one-step method where you could grab the text using SnagIT, edit the text in the edit box like you can do today, and then have an option to "replace" where it would replace the existing text directly in the image, that would be killer. This could be a pro feature and I imagine you could garner extra $$$ for this alone.

I realize that the algorithm would have to get the font type and size as close as possible and would need to make sure the background matches the existing background during the sampling and that may be challenging in some complex backgrounds, but it seems like a great feature that would save many folks a lot of time.

Go to the "move" tool. In the properties on the right, choose "smart move". Now, you'll see it identify easily movable objects, as well as search for text. If it successfully identifies some text, you can double click on it and change it!
Snagit will attempt to match fonts (color, typeface, points).
Give it a try and let us know what you think?

As @Paul Middlin mentioned, it looks like Snagit 2018 does what you want already:
