Please make the text inside non rectangular callouts follow the form of the non rectangular callout shape. Actually, in a callout with a circular shape, the text layout inside is always rectangular, which looks ugly. Look at the rightmost callout in the following example, to get an idea:

Also, there should be an option (default) where the callout size grows automatically while entering text, so that the callout size is always proportional to the contained text. This would be very useful!

Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to post your ideas and feedback. I tried to center align the text in a round callout, and it looks like it fits better, but perhaps the issue is I can't control the padding? Here's an example of a callout I made in Snagit on Mac. http://screencast.com/t/hycySSa1

Thanks for posting,

Hi Mike, thanks for the answer.

The example in your answer clearly shows the problem.

I understand that, from the programmer's point of view, the (invisible) text frame control inside the speech bubble is rectangular. However, it would be nice if your developers could find a way to make the inner text FLOW follow the circular shape of the speech bubble! This is something like in some text processors you can make the text flow AROUND an image object. With a speech bubble, this is the same, only this time the text flows INSIDE an object.

This method takes an extra step, but it might allow you to fine tune your circular callouts to the level you are looking for. Basically, just make a blank circular callout and then add another text-only callout on top of it, with centered alignment.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice about the workaround. However, I suggest that Techsmith provide a native solution. I.e., please make an automatic TEXT FLOW feature!
