Manually add cursor effects to non-camrec files

Camtasia Studio 8 - I'm creating a tutorial video of a tablet app. (I did this by recording my monitor screen as the tablet image was relayed using Reflector.) I'm actually using a camrec file, but since obviously Camtasia has no way of knowing where the touchscreen input is occurring in the video.

I want to add cursor effects (like rings) to show where to tap on the UI, since there is no cursor on the tablet to direct viewers' attention.

I can't find a way to add cursor effects manually, like I would add a Callout. It seems like cursor effects are stuck in "smart mode," and they only show up when the program detects an actual click. This seems convenient enough, but it's unnecessarily limiting a very useful feature.

No, I extracted it and then changed, so that answers that.

I tried changing it without extracting, but nothing changed. When I double-clicked, it just opened my zip application to extract it.

Yeah, that resolved it.

I had to un-hide file extensions in the folder for it to accept the change from .zip to .libzip without extracting, though. Otherwise it let me rename it .libzip but still maintained the .zip extension.

Is there a similar option for Camtasia Mac 2? I'm trying to add cursor effects for a screencast I created using QuickTime + plugged in iPhone, which doesn't capture taps on my iPhone as clicks. I'd really like to be able to manually add a left-click-warp effect to part of the screencast. Please help.

Sorry. Got here through a search - just realized this is specific to Studio.
