Media bin and timeline

Hi guys,

Wondering if it would be possible to add functionality that would allow an item in the media bin to be clicked on and this action would show/highlight where on the timeline that piece of media was actually used.

I regularly make/come back and edit video that is lengthy and multi-layered and need to edit a specific piece of the media contained.

Using the media bin in this way might be a nice to have navigation/search tool.

Just a thought.

Regards
Dan

Premiere Pro lets you know if the files been used by adding an Icon.

If it has, when you hover over it.It tells you how many times its been used.

If you click the Icon, it will tell you in timecode, where the media is located.

It does the same with any audio associated with the media. That happens to be a jpeg.

Oh,  and if click on the Timecode of the media. The playhead will jump to that location.
I forgot to add that yesterday. Dinner was ready and I was starved.Sorry about  that.

The reason I posted this? This is a good was to handle this information. If Camtasia handled it the same way.Works for me.
