Does the new Camtasia 9 allow you to merge 2 videos on the timeline? Sony Vegas Professional allows this. I know you are probably trying to keep things simple for the user but this is a really helpful feature.

When you say "merge", do you mean "stitch"?

If that's what you mean, I believe it's only possible if you have cut one piece of media. You cannot stitch two completely different clips.

Cheers... Rick :)

I guess what I mean is that with Sony Vegas you could grab 1 video clip on the timeline and "slide" it into the other video clip creating a merger of two files. Here is an example in Sony Vegas Professional. It is so helpful to be able to do that from time to time if you have little "bits" of video that you are cutting for various reasons.

In Camtasia 9, make a selection, then right-click and choose Ripple Delete and you should have what you need.

That didn't seem to work. Can you explain your technique more?

Hey pastor,

That's a pretty slick Vegas feature.Camtasia doesn't have it.
