missing volume level option

on each track we can simple drag the edge of sound & raise it . when we drag it to up , it shows default volume level 100. as we move up, the level is increasing to 150, 180, 190, ....
if there was an option to enter volume level via digits, it would be easier. for example an option like Gain ( which we can enter a number manually)

I agree 100% , being able to type in a value would be much better.

However, without an audio meter built into the editor. You're just guessing at finial output levels anyway. That's why I do all my audio in Adobe Audition.

If you want more control over volume levels in the timeline. You can get it by expanding the audio track to it's maximum height. Then, it's fairly easy to move it in small increments.It's inconvenient, and it's still  guesswork in the long run. But it works.

Agree there also needs to be a meter in the editor to monitor levels while editing.  This would help normalize the project to a standard.  Otherwise there are to many variables  that affect the level of audio I hear while working on the project.
