Hello All, Two quick questions about Camtasia:

1. Can I use Camtasia for recording 50 min non-stop talk? Can the software handle it?

2. If I save the video on my computer along with the project file in a single zipped file, can someone else use the video in the zipped file even if they do not have a copy of Camtasia on their computer?

Thank you for your time.

The zipped file can transport computer #1's Camtasia's  Media files from system #1 to system #2 - as if the project was created on #2.
To your questions:
1- Yes Camtasia can handle audio, video and/or both - with ease.
2- Sorry NO! They would need a legal, installed "same" version of Camtasia*.
You can load  Camtasia on two computers, as per the license agreement. - be careful, OK?

"Use"?  They can view it, but can not add to it .  They would need Camtasia installed to do that.

I concur with Ed. I have frequently used Camtasia 2018 Mac to record 1 to 2 hour presentations. Never had a problem.

As others have said, Camtasia will be able to handle this, however be sure to check the system requirements and go for higher RAM if you can. Some have experienced issues but it's usually down to the system they're using.
