Morae Survey Background Dimming

I'm looking to use the survey function in Morae to evaluate comprehension on a website. I've successfully gotten the survey to appear on the recording machine, however whenever the survey window appears the background of the rest of the screen dims, making it a bit harder to read the page I'm evaluating.

All normal functions on the non-survey windows are fine, but I'm hoping there's some way to prevent the background from dimming whenever a survey is sent.

Thanks in advance for any help / suggestions anyone has!

Are you using the auto-pilot feature to deliver the surveys?  If so, you can control how much the screen dims.

In the Recording Details dialog, click on the AutoPilot button in the upper half of the dialog.  With AutoPilot enabled, you will see a slider in the lower right that allows you to set the "Mask window opacity".  If you set that to a value at or near 0, your user should be able to see the rest of the screen more clearly.

(If you are not using AutoPilot, you might be able to cheat a bit by temporarily enabling AutoPilot and setting this opacity.  Save it.  Then restore your recording config.  I think the opacity setting will be remembered.)

I hope this helps.
