Your feature request for more tracks is noted.

The time it takes to upload the video is determined by the file size and the speed of your internet connection. We can't help with the speed of your internet connection. The file size will be proportional to the dimensions that you use at production time. Currently, the YouTube preset will use your editing dimensions as the production dimensions. You control your editing dimensions, which are initially set when the first clip is added to the timeline. You can change the editing dimensions at any time by using the dropdown at the upper left of the preview window in the editor.

There's a tradeoff here that you'll need to balance. If you produce and upload a smaller dimension video to YouTube, it will go faster. But YouTube won't generally create larger dimension versions of your video, so your viewers won't have the option to watch higher quality versions of your video. Alternatively, if you produce and upload HD dimensions to YouTube, it will (eventually) create HD versions of your video, which gives your viewers the option to watch a higher quality version of your video. So that's the tradeoff... faster upload verses verses larger dimension viewing options for your viewers. Armed with this info, choose the editing dimensions that optimize this tradeoff to suit your needs.

Hope this helps.

Hi Sonny,

Today, we just released Camtasia Studio 8. One of the major improvements is you may have unlimited tracks on timeline. Please check it out here: http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia-wha...
