Move mouse click effect in timeline

I'm using Camtasia 9.1.2 for Windows. I've added some mouse click sound effects to a recording on the timeline. I've since made edits to the clip, such as Extending Frames and re-adjusting clip speed. Because of these adjustments, I also need to move the mouse click sound about 1 second ahead in the timeline. There doesn't appear to be a way to do this without removing all the mouse clicks from the clip, and adding them again.

Is there a way to simply reposition the timing of a mouse clicks within a clip?

Is there an answer to this question from Techsmith? I need to do the exact same thing. I have Camtasia for Mac version 3.1.6... I want to be able to control the timing of the mouse click effects.

I believe the mouse click effects are synced to the video portion of a capture; I do not believe you can displace the actual click event from the click effect

I would think it difficult for the click action and click sound to become separated during editing, since the click noise is part of the screen capture stream, and not the audio component
