Moving Constrain Option Still Missing?

Unless I am missing something obvious, why has Snagit never implemented a constrain to moving elements? Like Word or design programs where you can hold the shift key to constrain movement in a straight line vertically or horizontally. I just upgraded from v11 to v13 and very disappointed that this is still not an option. Tried shift, alt, option keys. Nothing. 

Please do not reply with: "well, you can use align..." Why go through extra steps especially if you need a quick, simple move of an element.

You can move a selected element by holding down the arrow keys.
It constrains movement to the direction of the arrow key.

 It's slower than dragging but it does work.
If you hold down the shift key, it moves the element at a slower speed.

If you click the arrow key once, you can move the element 5 pixels at a time? I'm not sure exactly.
Hold down Shift and Click, it will move 1 pixel at a time.

Ahhh! That's good to know. I knew about the arrow move and that stinks as a lot of times I need to align to something really quick and it jumped pixels at a time. Not one at a time. Agree this is all slower and is a pain if need to move quite a bit of space. Still, the constrain option should have been a no-brainer add versions ago.
