Moving Objects in Editor needs a finer adjustment

As a software developer, I like to use SnagIt for screen mockups. The problem that I have is that Snagit's object adjustment with the arrow keys isn't fine enough. As Rick Stone (another member here) said a few years ago, there should be a way to make a finer adjustment, maybe using the Control key along with the arrow keys. It would be an easy enhancement and save users like us a lot of headache.

I wouldn't use SnagIt for mockups but I need a better 'nudge' capability regardless. :)

If you hold down the "Shift " key and use the arrow keys you get a one pixel nudge.

It's kind of a bass ackwards keyboard shortcut. Most programs nudge by one pixel and you need to hold down another to move an object by several pixels.

On that note, I could never understand why TechSmith goes against the grain and creates their own UN-common keyboard shortcuts. It makes no sense at all to be honest.

Spot on Joe.

It makes things more difficult for us users, and leads to request being raised for features that in the product, just hidden.  Please let Techsmith get some new UI/UX people.
