MP3 Audio and Latest 2020.0.3 Update

The latest 2020.0.3 update causes audio issues with .mp3 files. The audio actually starts before the cut. It does not play when visually it looks like there is a sound but that sound occurred several seconds before.

So now I have to convert my .mov files to .mp4 with handbrake and convert my separate .m4a audio files to .wav to get usable editing. I just assumed mp3 was a standard format that was always usable. I wish TechSmith would at least put a disclaimer out there that in order to edit movie files you have to do it this way. I've blown a ton of time trying to get this to work.

I do not want to role all the way back to v19. I just want to go back one update. 2020.0.(whatever). How can I do that?

If you kept the original install files for an older version, you can uninstall 2020.0.3 and install the older version.

Would you mind sharing an mp3 for which this happens? Or even better, a zipped project exhibiting the problem? I have not been able to reproduce this issue in 2020.0.3.

Unfortunately I cannot share the previous files. If I create a new file with 2020.0.3 using the same mp3 audio file, everything works fine. I believe when files created with 2020.0.x (before 2020.3) are brought into 2020.0.3 the timing of the mp3 audio file is off by several seconds. It's using audio from before the cut (approximately 4 to 6 seconds before the cut).

I submitted a ticket. I'm desperate enough that I shared a previous project. I need this to work because it doesn't seem like I can open the projects in V19 now that they are in v2020. I don't want to rebuild the whole project.
