My hardest transition from SnagIt12 -> 13

I've been using SnagIt 13 for a while now and after finally adding the "Blue Letters" in (missing from 13). I feel like I don't need to switch back and forth much anymore.

Having said that, my hardest transition that gets me EVERYTIME is when I resize a stamp and get it to the size I need for documentation, I clone it with the CTRL key.

SnagIt 12
When resizing the stamp you would need to hold down SHIFT to keep the aspect ratio. Then hold CTRL + CLICK and the stamp would be duplicated..... all is well.

SnagIt 13
When resizing, just grabbing the corner will keep your aspect ratio (pretty much as it should). My problem is that if you want to duplicate the stamp you now need to click off "focus" then CTRL + CLICK.

It's a painful process and I am caught yelling in my cubicle all day making grumbles of how my hand eye coordination and muscle memory are burned into doing it the v12 way.

Can anyone explain the reason for the change? or did I find a Bug?

The stamp WILL duplicate with a CTRL+CLICK while in focus, but will not keep the size.

Hi there,

FWIW ... I don't know if the below may be of help to you..

I also felt the stamps were too large,
so I copied the stamps to a different folder (let's say "MyStemps') and resized them there until I figured out what size is suitable to me.
I don't know if this batch convert is possible within v13, otherwise you may need to use some image conversion freeware tool..
Anyway, the general idea is to copy them to a different folder, batch resize them there and use those as default in future.
Well, at least, that's the way I went.
