Naming Callouts

I'm using Camtasia Studio 8.3 and I'm not seeing any way to name callouts.  "Sketch Motion Retangle1, Sketch Motion Rectangle 2 . . ."   is not very helpful.

Thanks

you can put callouts in the Library, and give each a name

I've seen this requested several times, and am curious how this would be useful?

I have a graph with several arrow callouts each pointing to a different point of interest. Differentiating the arrows on the timeline is tediuous. I currently have to name the track (1 track per callout). This requires going to the beginning of the track for the ID.

try grouping each callout with a caption; you can then rename the group to something useful

thanks for your insight, Joe

another workaround ...

add a caption with name over-top the callouts; if you will be moving callouts around, group the caption to each callout; the name shows on timeline [expand group] and in canvas

if the project does not have captions otherwise, just do not include them when producing; or, if project does have captions, keep the callout name ones on same track and delete the callout name ones before producing

a little more work, but beats a blank ...
