Need Inches/Measurement Ruler Functionality in SnagIt for Mac

I have been a SnagIt user since Windows shareware.  Now I'm on the Mac version.  I am adding my name to the list of people begging for the ability to measure and resize images by inches, not just by pixels or percent.  Sometimes an image has to fit certain inch (or cm) measurements (example: Passport-size images). And a ruler feature reflecting the measurement tool chosen would also help.  This seems to me such an ongoing basic need.  I recall having an inches feature in the Windows version, I think, but cannot find any such functionality in the Mac version.  This is a serious omission.  Please add it soon!  Or if it's buried in the Mac version, please help me find it.  Thanks.

Hi there

Pardon my ignorance of all things Mac, but I'm guessing that the Mac doesn't offer the same setting Windows does at the bottom of the editor?

If not, that's unfortunate. Because Feature Parity is a GOOD thing.

Cheers... Rick :)

We just released 2019.1.3 on the Mac which includes the ability to resize an image by inches or centimeters.

We also need the ability to measure items inside a screen capture.  Either as part of an existing tool or a new tool.  This request has existed in various postings for several years and is still not addressed by TechSmith.  Please help us.
