Need Keyboard Shortcut To Select All Text When A Timeline Or Canvas Object Is Selected

I've spent the past several weeks working with extremely high density projects; one had 5,850 hotspot callouts in a 3:48 project.

These projects were built out using Library asset templates, where the many callout hotspots were vertically stacked, and placed on the canvas with extreme precision; all the callouts in the templates had place-holder text

During the buildouts, callouts had to be selected, either on timeline to ID them in the canvas, or directly on the canvas, then the selected callout, in the canvas, had to be double- clicked [or in some instances, triple-clicked] to put their text in edit mode so that correct text could be pasted in; in most cases, the correct text was copied from a database table

The issue with this workflow is that often the act of initially selecting the canvas item will slightly displace the item, due to what I call "mouse kick"; this often happened regardless of how careful I was at initiating the selection; additionally, the act of doing the double/triple clicking would also sometimes displace the selected item; the displacement issue was substantially exaberated if the item was in a group; the design of the projects required "to-the-pixel" object placement; if you did not catch these minor displacements, the project would look bad after production; if immediately detected, before new text pasted in, undo woud usually fix it [but for some reason, not always]

The above described issue materially affects editing efficiency, and made this workflow much harder than necessary

What is needed is the ability to select the object [on timeline or in canvas], then be able to use a KEYBOARD SHORTCUT to initiate the select-all text action

I consider the lack of such a shortcut to be a deficiency in the design of the current editor; adding such a shortcut would be greatly appreciated
