Need mp4 downsizing options on Mac Snagit! The large files don't work where the small older Jing format did.

Use a MacBook Pro.  Screen shot videos are using up too much HD space to store these huge mp4 screen shot training videos for family and friends on all sorts of topics!  Jing is obsolete format, but the small file sizes were very legible and only 50 MB for a 5 minute video.  Can't believe mp4 video quality is not included in Snagit.  Going to have to move on from your software to find another for this reason...frustrating.

Also, don't like that the files get put into a temp folder instead of immediately into the dropbox user created folder I want them in, almost like it is waiting on them to upload to dropbox first or something.

I agree with the need for user control of vid quality/file size!

I am going back to using the default Quicktime player screen video recording software, as it will do a simple export and simple screen videos of any part or all of the screen.  No fancy editing, and not based right in the start bar, but I don't really need that.  5 minute video in QuickTime can be 120MB and very legible for training, instead of 1.3GB!
