New Projects canvas should default and stay defaulted to canvas dimensions

I love the idea of being able to set the default canvas dimensions in Camtasia.

However, I get burned by this so many times.

I like to capture either my whole display, or a portion of it.
Most of the time it is not 1920x1080 because I like to be able to zoom in.

When I capture my screen, after recording, Camtasia changes the canvas to match the recorded video.

This is frustrating if I don't notice, because I'll have to go back and make loads of changes to my project to get it to fit.

This is still happening in Camtasia 2020.

Here is a video of my issue.

If you want your canvas to always be a fixed size, such as 1080p, choose this option.

Or you can choose a custom size.  The 'Automatic Sizes' are the only ones that adjust to the recording.  Everything else is a fixed size.

Thank you Stephen.

That is exactly what I wanted.
