New to Camtasia Community - does this replace the Slack Community discussed in the certification video?

I am new to the community and was reviewing the certification video. In the certification video, it mentions a Slack community - is this Community the same, and did it replace the Slack Community? If so, perhaps the video should be reviewed and changed.

Hi Kloebel,

If I am understanding your question correctly, the Slack Certification Community is different than Feedback.techsmith.com (or this community). The Certification group is ONLY for those who have access to the Certification program (via purchasing Maintenance for Camtasia). Its focus is to discuss aspects of the certification and some questions about Camtasia. It is not a place for general feedback. It is monitored by myself and the Camtasia Certification Author, Daniel Park.

This forum, group, community - or whatever you want to call it (Feedback.techsmith.com) is much more general and focused on questions and feedback of all sorts. Our staff regularly monitor these posts, although it is most likely that another member of the community will respond.

So these are two separate groups with separate purposes.

Maybe I've misunderstood your question - if so please let me know.

Cheers!

Hi Matt, how would one connect with that group? Having gone through the certification myself, I'd be curious to engage with that community.
