Newbie here - I'm adding an arrow annotation to an image. Trouble is, the arrow only points to the right. I'd like to change the angle. The tutorial hints that it can be done but does not show how.

You don't say what version you are using but in Camtasia 9 and 2018

With your annotation selected on the timeline/canvas, in the properties panel click on the
visuals tab at the top and then use the rotation options.

Here I typed 180 in the Y axis field and flipped the green arrow to point it to the left.
You can also click and drag on the white spinner circles to rotate the object.

Click on the image to enlarge:

You can reset the rotation back to 0.0 if you need to by clicking the reset arrow.

It depends on the arrow type. For Dubie's line type arrow you can use the rotation controls as shown or click on one end and drag it to a new position, creating a new angle. In Camtasia 2018, you can add text to arrows and rotate them using the "bubble" controls on the edges. The extra bubble next to the central one is a turn control (black arrow in screenshot). Click and drag it in a circular motion to change the angle. The the text realigns with the angle of the arrow.
