When playing back in Internet Explorer 11.503, It doesn't allow full screen. It just bounces back to the small screen.

Have you tried another browser? (Chrome, Brave, Firefox . . .)?  Also, is your Java up-to-date?

I use 5 different browsers as many sites may not work as well in one as another. (Clicking on the blue text brings up the indicated URL using the browser listed in row1.

The site I'm at uses both IE and Chrome. It would be nice if the display could go Full Screen in both browsers as it did before I did the update.

Can you provide the site URL?  I have Camtasia 2019.0.9 - also when you say full screen, what are those specific dimensions of your recording?

No This is on a private server with proprietary info. It is a custom size, however it has been playing fine full screen in IE up until I did the 19.08 update. I will do the 19.09 update and see if this gets fixed and let you know.

No. The 19.09 gives the same result. When you click on Full Screen it flashes and then moves from the center of the browser to the left corner  at the same size. Again, this does not happen in Chrome only in IE as far as I know. Attached is the custom config of the video.

Is there a reason you need it  to work on IE?  I think I read somewhere that in the near future it'll only be supported on older OSes, Server 2012, Win 8.0 & 8.1 (I think)

LOL, seems we've been hearing that "news" from Micro$oft for many years now! ;)

Micro$soft says: For REALS this time!

The client uses both browsers (and no others) so it would be beneficial but not critical for it to work on IE. People can be instructed to use Chrome. It just is irritating that that it worked before the upgrade.

If you prefer, I think you can roll back the update:

Thanks. Yes, I've considered doing that. Not sure what I would lose in the process. Haven't looked at the update specs.

Hi Paul,

I'm sorry to hear the issues a client of yours is experiencing.  I've tried reproducing the issue and IE11 fullscreen mode is working for me.  I've tested a few different sites with a couple different installs of IE11.

Also for your information, Camtasia productions use our TechSmith Smart Player for playback.  This player is what the client is seeing issues with, not Camtasia 2019 directly.  Camtasia 2019 automatically pulls down the latest version of that software when you produce a new video in order to keep the player up-to-date.  So if you were to rollback your version of Camtasia 2019 you would still be getting the latest version of the TechSmith Smart Player.

Thanks,
Ben
