I know others who use this same mic and have had no issues but that is not to say you are not. Have you set it in Windows as the default Recording Device ? You can check that by right clicking on the little speaker icon in your Taskbar and selecting Recording Devices and then see if it is listed. Not sure if that is what is happening or not but you can also try to unplug it and plug it back into the USB to see if that works or not and make sure Camtasia is closed down first then restart Camtasia and see if it shows up or not. Let us know and sorry for your issue.

If it is still not working then I would put in a support ticket with TechSmith and see if they can help you find the problem. The information for that is listed below for you.

Sometimes Chat can help and other times they may need to still do some more investigating on an issue so it is not a quick one click fix on certain issues. Just wanted to add that but at least they can let you know what is going on and let you know and get a support ticket in for you too.

Thanks for posting and please post back if the method I explained above works or not and if not what you find out from TechSmith Support by posting it back here for other users who may have the same mic as you can see what to do to fix it if it is fixable. I look forward to hearing back with your input/feedback and hope you find this information helpful and like it. Have a great day/night.

Regards ~ Fred.
