I downloaded and used Camtasisa trial period for 30 days.
Afterwards, I decided to uninstall Camtasia and used Windows 10 as instructed in Techsmith site.

Wehn restarting the laptop, the sound is not working. I reinstalled the sound driver several times and still not working.
I re-installed Camtasisa and everything returned back to normal and the sound is working now.

Can someone please help me uninstalling Camtasia and keeping the sound working on my laptop?

Camtasia wouldn't normally have an effect on your sound.

I understand  that it does, I'm not saying that it doesn't.
There may be some convoluted back door channel that's hijacked your sound.
That being said. You should be able to go to the speaker icon in your system tray. Left Click on it and turn up the volume of your speakers.

You can also right click the same icon. Go into properties and  make sure your speakers are set as the default playback device.

long shot ...

try restarting your PC again; then un-install again; any luck?
