No way to silence all media at once

I just upgraded to Camtasia 9 and aside from some major stability improvements I am completely disappointed. Why can't I silence all my media clips at once? Why can't I edit clip speed on multiple clips at once? I used to do all this with one click and now it's gone. This is a mess and it needs to get fixed. I'm very unhappy to pay for an upgrade to software that was mostly working fine and now my workflow is being slowed down considerably because you have removed useful features.

you can silence all clips at once, and you can change clip speed on multiple clips an once

you just first have to select all the clips on timeline ...

then, for audio, in properties, select the audio icon, and either use the gain slider, or, on timeline, pull down on the level line that shows on each clip

for clip speed, add clip speed using the visual effects group, then adjust the value in properties

Upgraded today. Like interface to degree. Some of the changes are overkill--ie graphics for transitions. What frosts me is system overload. On a 16G xenon 2.6 Ghz 5550 HP800 with nvidea Quadro Cx, old but works, the sytem cannot keep audio and video in synch. too resource intensive. a dissapointment. function not form is what good upgrades do. the upgrade was waste of my money

Here is what you can do. Highligh any part of th time line. You should have this blue looking highlight thing. Move it around to select all clips or where needed. Onece all clips are selected go about your business.

The clip speed does not apply to all clips at once.
