No Folder Delete in Screencast beta

In the beta library I was unable to delete a folder after I had deleted/moved all content. I looked all over for a delete function and couldn't find one. But when I went back to the other view, there was a trash can button right away. That was the only way I could do this simple task.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
how to delete folders not immediately apparent.

I wasn't able to figure out how to delete a number of emptied folders (spring cleaning!), so reverted to classic view to find the "trash cans". Problem solved, but what did I miss?

Here is the solution in pictorial form. Overall, you need to select the folder, then click the Edit button. In the dialog that opens, choose Delete, then Save. Click the image below to see a larger version.
