Hi David,

It sounds like the scrolling capture features might not be enabled for you, but rest assured, we did not remove the scrolling capture feature from Snagit for Mac 2.0 :)

What I'd like you to try is open Snagit and navigate to the Preferences window. Under the "Capture" tab, does your window look like this: http://screencast.com/t/RNXy3nrN1x ? If so, click the "Help me fix it..." button. Once that process has completed, try your scrolling capture in Safari again.

Let me know if that helps out, if not, we can look at the bug some more.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi David,

We have been unable to reproduce the issue you showed in your video, but clearly as you showed, there is something strange going on here.

Can you try going to a different website that is long enough to have scrollbars and attempt to do a scrolling capture? At this point, as you've shown in your video, everything seems to be set up perfectly, but there is a chance that there is something specific to the page you are capturing.

Thanks for the help, I apologize for the delay in my response, but thanks again.

Hi David,

The main difficulty we are having is reproducing this same problem given that is a bank website with a login required. We have been able to successfully do a scrolling capture on the main page of the site you listed with Snagit 2.0. However, the site might be written in a slightly different way once logged in, that would prevent us from being able to scroll it properly.

I apologize for the trouble this caused in your capture workflow, but thanks for taking the time to provide more information.

Jason
