Noise removal in Camtasia 9 stinks! Is there a way to use the noise removal in Camtais 8 and then import to 9?

The noise removal feature in Camtasia 9 is nowhere near as effective as Camtasia 8. In fact, it makes many of my clips sounds worse!  Does anyone know if we can record an audio clip in Camtasia 8, use 8's noise removal feature, and then import that clip into 9 without loosing the noise removal?

Any advice is appreciated!

suggest you try using the noise reduction in free Audacity; it works great

I just export my audio out of Camtasia as a WAV file, open it in Audacity, apply NR, export as a WAV, them import the WAV into Camtasia and silence original audio

for me, works like a charm

I think the point here is that we shouldn't HAVE to do a "work around". We paid for this product that advertises that it offers "enhanced audio features", if they are going to deprecate a MAJOR feature, they should do so before we choose to stick with their product.  This is like buying a new car, only to find out the A/C doesn't work, and some of you are suggesting I roll down the windows...or buy a bag of ice and sit on it. ;-)

That's definitely the point. Noise removal is one of the most important features for my work, so having to do any sort of workaround after paying for the upgrade feels like a major kick in the shorts. Plus, none of the workarounds I have tried have worked as well as the noise removal in the old Camtasia 8.
