Not Responding (Mac)

On starting Camtasia 3, it goes into a search mode. I think it may be looking for old files that I have removed.
I have re installed the latest version of Camtasia and it still searches for the old files (I think) whatever it is doing it is not responding and the umbrella of doom continues to spin.
How can I do a clean install on a Mac (Mac Book Pro with 110 Gb of spare memory and 16Gb of Ram)

I have the same problem and it really annoys me. I don't know if it is searching for something. But it takes more than 10 minutes before Camtasia 3 is responding. So TechSmith, I paid for this version and I expect a quick response to solve the problem.
