Notification Tray Icon Behavior

Is there a way to change the default behavior of the notification tray icon? Is it possible to have the editor open up when clicking on the Snagit icon instead of the capture window?

RMB clicking and selecting the editor from the context menu works but changing the default single click behavior would save me some clicking... ;o)

After a Capture when the Editor is open you should see a Blue Box with a White S in it on the Taskbar. Right Click the Icon and Click Pin to Taskbar.
When the Editor is closed the Blue Boxed S will open just the Editor.
The Red Box is the Recorder and can also be Pinned to the Taskbar.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not interested in pinning to the taskbar. I'd rather change the default behavior of the notification tray icon.

Don't know what version you are using, but in ver. 12 and 13 using the one click feature may save you some clicks/time.

Just hover and click

Thanks - but I prefer not use OneClick.

Perhaps there's a registry hack I can figure out.

I want what Jeff Marver wants, a change to the default action of the SnagIt icon in the notification area. One click on the icon (NOT the OneClick function) to open the Editor. We have so many icons on our desktops that using tricks like Pinning just adds to the clutter. Please, change the program! I'm on version 18 now.
