I find it strange and a little bit monotonous that when I create a video and publish it,then I have to make some client changes to the same video, I have to again to hit, Share - Custom Production - New Custom Production each time I need to render a new update. It is not a New custom Production but a new render of an existing project.

It would be very useful to have a button that basically says click this button to render a new version of this video based on the existing settings and folder location.

regarding the custom production settings ... at end of the 1st custom production, save the settings as a profile [there is a button to do this]; then use that profile when you need to re-do the production

Good Idea.

Regarding Custom Production profiles It can save you a lot of clicks.

Follow the set up wizard under the Share Tab.

You will still have to name the project & destination folder.

If you save “all” your productions to the same destination. Camtasia will select that folder in most cases. Choosing the last folder used. What I find aggravating? Updating Camtasia will change the destination folder to its default location.

Adobe’s Premiere Pro remembers every setting from the previous export.

If the original video still resides in the destination folder. It will render the same name. Automatically adding a numerical value starting with 1. If you create subsequent videos, their numbered accordingly.

Its a nice feature.

to add some clarification ...

if you install a Camtasia maintenance update [like 2019.0.7 to update from 2019.0.6], virtually all previous settings are remembered

if you "upgrade" Camtasia 2018 to Camtasia 2019, that is a new app install, and you'll have to set things up one time on the front end
