'One Click' will not stay "on" - have to turn it on each time I log in

I am having trouble with 'One Click' staying open.  I have to turn it on each time I sign-in.  I recently upgraded to SnagIt 11 and for some reason I cannot seem to get the 'One Click' option to remain on my desktop.  I did not have this problem with Version 10. There must be something in the profile settings that I am not aware of.  Can you please advise how I can get 'One Click' to stay open.  Thanx for your assistance.

As far as I know using the settings shown in the Image below should work. This is SnagIt 11 that's shown, the settings are the  same for 12. Click to enlarge.

Thanx Joe - your assistance is most appreciated.  The version I have does not have the tools settings set up at the bottom/just below of the little red button [image 1] but I was able to find it at the top of my toolbar under 'Tools - Program Preferences'.  The only problem was when I checked the box and tried to 'apply' the change - it said I was unable to do it because I did not have 'Administrator' access?  I didn't need to have this access before, so I am not sure why it is required now?  It just seems strange that the program would prevent the 'one click' option from loading when Windows is started, etc.  I know I did not have this problem with SnagIt 9 or 10.  I guess I will just need to set it up every morning when I log-on.  Thanx again for your assistance.

I had the same problem with SnagIt 12, I ran a repair Install from the "Control Panel" and the privileges were restored and the default setting of Run SnagIt when windows starts was applied. See Image Below. SnagIt 11 behaves the same way.

I shut it back off because I don't want it that way but it did let me do it.
Good Luck and Regards, Joe

Thank you Joe Morgan.  Unfortunately, I am unable to make any corrections/adjustments to my "Programs" as this is my work computer and our IT Dept has restricted that option from our computer.  We are unable to install/uninstall anything on our computers.  Everything is filtered through the IT Dept.  I will contact them and ask if they can do a 'repair' as you suggested.  If not, I guess I will just have to open the "one click" function every day when I log on to my computer.  Thanx again for all of your assistance.  It was most helpful!
