One Quick Styles to rule them all

Most of the time, I use but 10 or so objects in my annotations of screen captures.
Now I have to select which one (text, shape, call out, line) at the top of the screen, remembering what the icon/reading the text, sometimes even having to use the dreaded drop down menu of "More".  Then I have to move over to the right, and select the correct one from the new Quick Styles.

What about one "Quick Styles" with all of my most favorite items? (mis-spellings aside)

If you think this is a good idea, vote it up!
(this is a re-post of an idea from before the new idea vetting process)

Hi and thanks for submitting your idea!

As outlined in our New Community Processes post, feature requests are open to voting up through the 1st of the month (this month is slightly different, due to the holidays) where we will then tally the votes and present the findings to our product teams. To ensure we have the most accurate data, on the 1st of the month we will be locking the threads that were listed in the Feature Request Round-up that was posted on the 15th. Once we have reviewed the submitted feature requests, our product team(s) may respond to the request, and if that is the case then that thread will then be unlocked for further discussion.

In the event that your idea is not selected for a response feel free to resubmit the idea and share it with your colleagues to garner as much exposure as possible!

Thank you again for your idea and we look forward to hearing more from you!

Great idea!

One concern I have is that the favorite tool could get confusing with swapping out the properties with the current tool, might be hard to learn the intended purpose for new users, and it could require multiple clicks to get to it and select the right quick style from other tools. That's not to say we wouldn't do it, but I wanted to bounce an idea off of you all:

What about being able to put quick styles up in the toolbar? Available at a single click. You could just drag from the quick styles to the bar. Does that meet the needs? Or is there something about the "one tool to rule them all" that would be better?

I rather like the Quick Styles on a toobar idea.

Note that I didn't say "the toolbar" but "a toolbar".
Seems the space is limited on the toolbar we presently have. So I could easily see a second toolbar perhaps below the main toolbar. Maybe call it the Quick Styles toolbar?

Cheers... Rick :)
